WebJan 12, 2024 · I've not heard of JBA headers cracking, so I wouldn't worry about that. Certainly cracking isn't an inherent fault of stainless, so the more important point is brand and quality. You can get cat'ed b-pipes to handle emissions, and boost performance. Talk to Jeff at Cajun Bpipes. He can walk you through your options. Super guy to work with.

The "soot" shown in the photo makes me concerned that either A) the gasket is gone at that point or B) if the header is cracked, it is allowing the exhaust to pass resulting in the soot on the block. new continent motor
