WebAug 23, 2013 · In July 1933, Bonnie and Clyde, Buck and Blanche, along with their associate W. D. Jones, were engaged by police in Platte City, Missouri twice over a period of five days. Buck and Blanche were captured while the rest of the gang slipped away yet again. Buck died from his wounds, but Blanche survived to serve six years in prison.
