Webb20 jan. 2016 · I wanted a uniform pin cushion shape to contrast with ornamental grasses and succulents. I wanted the pines to stay small, and contrast with the grasses that would be two thirds bigger. This was my vision. What happened instead was three dwarf Mugo Pine ‘Nana’ grew into three different shapes and heights! None of them stayed small. WebbGrows up to 3-5 ft. tall (90-150 cm) and 6-10 ft. wide (180-300 cm). Performs best in full sun in well-drained soils. Mugo pine is not fussy about soils and grows in acidic, alkaline, loamy, moist, sandy or clay soils as long as they are well drained. It is also drought tolerant. Perfect for coastal gardens and rock gardens.
